Sturon Onions round, plump medium straw coloured onions that keep well through the winter due to its thin neck, meaning it will remain in great condition right through until February/ March time.

Casablanca (1st early) Heavy yielding, they also can be left to grow on for storage as a maincrop potato. They offer good resistance to diseases such as blight, blackleg and Eelworm. Use any appropriate cooking method as to what time you lift your crop – Exhibitors favourite.

Kestrel (2nd early) a smashing variety for roasting and chipping, as it does not absorb too much oil. The healthy plants are double eelworm-resistant and have good resistance to slugs and blackleg. 
The long, white skinned tubers have purple eyes and are often seen at shows.

Charlotte (2nd early) are on the waxy side which makes them excellent for boiling, they hold their shape well and are delicious hot or cold. Using them for roasting and to sauté produces excellent results.
 
Desiree (main crop) can be cooked in all the common ways except as a salad potato as they don’t steam well. But boil, mash, chip and roasting are all fine.

Home Guard (1st early) superior potato of excellent flavour that does not go floury like some varieties, making it an excellent boiling potato. Both the skin and flesh are pure white. High-yielding and with good resistance to scab.

King Edwards (main crop) are hugely versatile  – boiled, mashed, chipped or baked. High yielding and store well. Best potatoes for Christmas dinner!

 

We also have free seeds, plant pots, manure and woodchip for home and allotment use, please help yourself, (we have plenty of bags available in our hut).
